Last week HFPA Member Katherine Tulich sat down with Dakota Fanning for an in-depth conversation about Fanning's career that already dates back almost two decades. The two discuss everything from her starring in commercials at age six to her motion picture debut in I Am Sam to her new television series The Alienist, where she stars opposite Daniel Bruhl and Luke Evans. They also talk about her family, notes from her mother, why she took so many suitcases to Budapest, her role in the film series Twilight, directing her first short film "Hello Apartment", and briefly tease her upcoming projects Ocean's 8 and The Bell Jar.
